The park's whopper tomato has several green tomatoes and I have picked them yet, but I'll picked them today before the colder weather comes in a few days.
This is the first time I've grown them, they didn't fruit well a few months ago. I was going to pulled them up but they started flowering again so now green tomatoes.

What do you do with green tomatoes?

The Texas wild cherry tomatoes I picked since many were ripe or almost ripe.

Some might be far enough along to ripen indoors at room temperature. I picked about two dozen greenies just before a freeze in October. All but four ripened and we ate the last of them earlier this month. Set them on a flat surface not touching each other stem-end down. No other special instructions.

Late November. I put these last few in the fridge and they lasted about another 7 days

All the tomatoes ripened!
It took awhile - last two just this week so didn't have fried green tomatoes. But will have to try them next time.

Very cool to have fresh homegrown tomatoes in January. Good work!
