The Siberian Express has hit us hard.
We had actual temperatures of -4° F Friday morning!

My house is cold. We are just not set up for this kind of cold. Today is better and the outside is now 14° F.

The power company is doing rolling blackouts. I guess it could be worse.

I hope everyone else is staying safe and warm.

Yes, years ago we used to be zone 6! And the -4 was not even the record low for the day.

Today we are warmer. 30° F outside and my home is nice and warm again.

Now we have January 1 to look forward to with all the peony catalogs that go live then.

Today not any garden to see thru a thick blanket of snow.
Just Yankee havin a good roll in the snow…
