Jennifer Trimmer x Linda Beck. That's the one that grabs me.
I made that cross too. Great to see such a nice preview of what
that cross can do.

Thanks for the comments.
The first seedling has been put with Dancing Chevrons and the cross has been a success. I have one more season to see if the cross produces anything worth working with.

Here are a few from today....

This is the sib to the first seedling above,,

PAT GARRITY X HOLD YOUR HORSES - the bold eye from HYH seems to be present in most of the offsprings,

Lyle, Sinister Minister x Magical Mystery Show certainly is a great cross for dark
eyes and edges. The first one I was talking about has nice form, nice sepals, and
of course the green throat. The next one with this cross is nice too.

And, you have a very nice pattern going on with Infinity and Beyond x Judge Nancy.
I also like Pat Garrity x Hold your Horses. Very clean colors.
And also the Sense of Wonder x sdlg.

Also, you've even got a purple edge on that patterned one. Nice.

Shirlee - The new daylilies are OK but the older daylilies they came from still puts on the best traits - it is like a strain in the gene pool, sometimes it is better to go back to the source

MAGICAL MYSTERY SHOW, SINISTER MINISTER, - SM in the hybridizing area

You can get some different looks with SM X MMS - here is another seedling from the above cross..
Thumb of 2013-05-12/lyle627/57b3e3

Ann - the stats are very good for a first bloom seedling, when it comes to patterened eyes, getting a broken eye is the important step, getting multi color is even better, getting a good edge to go with the eye is a bonus..

Here are some seedlings from the cross INFINITY & BEYOND X JUDGE NANCY--2012

Well, let me try again. This time I didn't delete all my message, I dropped offline and it took me several minutes to get back on. DOn't know what's happening. Did the same thing last night, just WHAM, gone!! Finally had to just reconfig a network link. Tonight was in the process of doing the same when I noticed I had reconnected. HMMMMMMM. New laptops can be soooooo much fun. This one is so darned fast, I'll not really complain about the dropping connection but I will have to figure it out, since I'm one that does not like the unknown. I always want to know WHY! God created me like this and I cannot help it. It's all his fault! Rolling on the floor laughing

Lyle, I love your new babies. They are astounding. I must get Sense of Wonder, it's one I just seem to always overlook when I decide to buy. It's a beauty.

I agree Lyle, sometimes one has to go back to the source, especially when
desired traits begin to wane. It is so exciting to find a combination of plants that yield
many great and varied seedlings. I think I have maybe found just one so far.

Still wowed by the patterned one. Love it!!!
