Has anyone else started to delay planting until late May or early June because of the prolific Hailstorms? Also, are there any seed exchanges happening in this area? Should I start one? Resources?

I don't. Not in the panhandle, but by the third week in North Central Texas, May is generally too hot already. Better to chance a hailstorm than contend with the heat. Also, grasshoppers are usually a problem here and they arrive in huge numbers when the weather is warmer.
