...'Blue Mouse Ears' Hosta can have an impact in the garden that belies its size.
It works beautifully in permanent raised planters, large decorative pots, and large hanging baskets. ["Large" is meant to suggest containers large enough to hold the hosta and several other plants... 16 inch pots and up.]
For in ground plantings I started planting them in groups of 5 and 7... the neat bundles of foliage look good en masse...
And the blooms are incredibly cute when lots of them are blooming at once.

This is good looking little Hosta. Blue-green leaves are thick compared to other hostas. The blooms stand straight out from the 12 inch flower stems. Flower buds swell like little balloons before opening in clusters.
If you can possibly position them so you can easily see the blooms close-up... mores the better.
