Last season my Asiatic lilies were consumed by red lily bugs.What does everyone do to avoid these?

I started planting lilies with very thick stems & leaves, like Conca d'or...they eat some holes in them, but not many....I try to squish all that I find...a parasitic wasp has been introduced in MA, & I think it has really cut down on the amount I've been seeing....

Yes, I have them here also. So sad as for so many years they had not yet reached our area and the lilies were just stunning. No they get ratty looking.
