I have a small (2branch) seedling adenium and the leaves are sharply down turned. They are also more narrow than my 8 year old one. Will this change at maturity? The seeding is about 2 years old.

@Hunnybee8765 Welcome! to the Adeniums forum

your plant is, or trying to enter dormancy ....all growth stops .....the bare or bald appearance of stem tips confirm dormancy -
the "folded down" leaves are a sign of the lack of water - and any loss of leaves is completely normal .... watering now or anytime during dormancy can cause root rot ..and the death of the plant

stop watering asap and place the plant either under artificial lighting or next to a window ....

the leaves of the adenium species as a whole are very diverse and varies from wide to narrow ..... as the plant matures only the leaf length gets longer, the shape stays the same
