Thank you for the compliments. My staff supervise more than help, but I love them. I have a list of daylilies that I am going to post here that do not have pictures, for example Red Wing, 1943, Wayman.

I've been a bit slow letting you know that your daylilies arrived looking great. They've been placed in their new home in the garden. Can't wait to see them bloom! I'll send pics.

Where do you get your blank nameplates for the daylilies? I've been using the plastic little signs and writing with the Sharpie Extreme. Most of them are okay but some just are blank after a couple of months. Somewhere I do have a set of alphabet presses and that would make my day. What do you use to hang yours one?

I was purchasing nameplates from Amazon. $25 for 200. I have since found aluminum cans. I cut them up same size as the plant tags I bought. I use either the stamps or use a pen with a heavy hand. As for stakes, I use cut up coat hangers or the other day I found some wires that they use for drop ceilings. I use a hole punch to make a hole at the top and viola, cheap, unique, affordable plant tags.

I bought a roll of aluminum flashing at Home Depot and a pack of grease pencils (also known as china pens) for $17. I think I can use a pizza cutter to cut them to size. I was really impressed when I noticed the daylilies came with those wonderful labels. By the way, I have my own staff, got 8 of my own and feed a small colony of ferals (most of mine were stolen from the feral colony as kittens). They all love having me outside working in the beds.

I got a roll of flashing and cut it w a pair of scissors.

Here are my homemade tags from aluminum cans and coat hangers. I do like the flashing idea. I will keep that in mind if I can't find cans along the road.
