Is there such a thing as a concrete paint that doesn't peel, chip, etc?

I have two concrete items that need refinishing. The previous owners just used cheap paint on it to sell the house. But looking around, concrete seems to be notorious about making any paint look truly awful.

So... Is there a great concrete paint or is it a mythical beast?
Always looking for interesting plants for pollinators and food! Bonus points for highly, and pleasantly scented plants.

I "think" it might be a mythical beast. I was going to have concrete floor of porch painted and the professional painter said it wouldn't last so I didn't.

Floor-wise, I've seen some interesting things done with Daich Coatings ... Also counters...

I have painted my concrete patio . The trick is to etch the concrete with acid, rise with vinegar to deactivate the acid , rinse well, then paint the area with a concrete primer , then add color choice paint for concrete . Then seal it with a concrete seal. It must be under a covered area not exposed to the weather. Best time is summer in warm temps above 65-7o degrees. It's a lot of prep but well worth the effort.
This patio been painted over 20 years still lookin good.
No chips and painted flooring design.

@bumplbea What kind of acid do you use? Muratic?

Yes muratic acid. It didn't seem to hurt any of the near by plants.

Unfortunately, my urns are at the front of the house and will take the brunt of whatever weather extremes we get.

I have some garden statues that I painted with house paint. Still lookin good .
I used house paint which is made to withstand weather conditions.
Or just ask at the stores paint section what they recommend for your project.
