Sempervivum Diseases, Problems, and Pests

As a rule, sempervivums are tough little plants that can put up with a lot of abuse before they’re overwhelmed. Not many plants are as resilient as these guys, yet even they face some dangers.

I need to place an order for more of this.

My question is: do you find the granular to work as well as the liquid? I'm seeing mixed results in reviews for the former, but the latter really is unsightly and my sprayer clogs repeatedly, so I'd really like to switch.

I used the granular this year for the first time and I like it a lot better because you don't see it - it looks like big coffee grounds. But I'm dealing with small critters like rabbits. I would think if you have deer problems, the spray might work better to keep them from chomping the buds of tulips and lilies. I also got some of their vole repellent I plant to try this fall. Hope it works as well as the other stuff.
