Allison I love the "Ugh Back Again" plant. I just planted some of those. Another of those plants that I got from my grandmother and it's still going strong. The deer don't eat it so it is welcome in my yard. Your pics are beautiful as always. Love the close up shot of the last photo.
Good news, the Lobelia I started from Seed in Feb are finally blooming. I'll get pics tomorrow. Fascinating little itty bitty flower.
Allison try a more eco friendly approach and use Vinegar on the Ugh plant leaves. It works like a charm for me and won;t destroy the environment like Round up does. http://www.agardenforthehouse....
Thanks slowly but surely. Now if I can keep the slug attack under control I'll be good. Todays rain brought out the big rider sized slugs out. I'm sure my neighbors must think I'm weird always walking around the yard with a pair of scissors or salt shaker hunting for slugs or sprinkling coffee grinds around each and every plant that gets affected.
Celeste the Black Raspberry I got from you is doing wonderful. It's about two foot tall know.
morning is my time to strike.. I just cut them up too.. make me nuts.. I was going to plant some of the plants in flats still.. and thank god I had my gloves on.. grabbed a huge one on the back side.. they always get me.. trying not to walk outside without my gloves.. nothing worse than trying to de slime
funny how stuff that spreads in your yard I can't get to spread here at all
Ajuga- gone, Spiderwort- never bloomed, Pacysandra- still in the same place I planted it
you left the foliage to die back natural I am assuming?.. so strange.. even the ones I dug and didn't get to anyone still bloomed in the containers from the year before
