Signal flowers are up on my 'Raven'. Leaves shortly!

Pretty, like little orchids. My peacock gingers are just now putting out leaves.

Mine are coming up like little fingers out of the soil. Not every one makes a signal flower like this one. Most don't, but I like it when they do because it reminds me not to plant something in what I might think is a blank space LOL

Reminds me of a story, a friend's husband came into their house all upset saying "someone has picked all your flowers and threw them on the ground." :t

Argh!

I have my peacock ginger in pots, but over the years the squirrels have relocated the tubers around the garden, so it pops up all around now. Worked in the garden all day yesterday, noticed my other gingers are emerging, the curcuma and pinecone. Hopefully the new pup doesn't trample them.

My pinecones are coming up, some of the spring blooming curcumas as well
