I love living stones. I wish I had more south exposure windows, I'd love to grow them again. Love the banner!

I love them too! I have to use lights and Eastern exposure. It's tricky. Lost one out of this group to rot. Here's what it looks like today. They're a bit behind schedule because I water to late into fall/winter and don't expose them to enough night/day temp spread over winter. Some are stacking for these same reasons. They need all that to trigger proper growth sequence. It's learning curve that's different depending on your growing environment. I have just over 100 plus a couple dozen seedlings.

Hurray! Hurray! my daughter loves her lithops! Looks like hers are growing good, but may lost one that developed rot. No germination on seeds.

Love the full photo too! I used to have a fully enclosed and winterized front porch where I also had plant lights in the ceiling and could grow them very well in the west window there and they'd flower. Other cacti that needed colder temp drops I would move to a basement window under a fluorescent light where it would often get in the low 50s to force them into flowering.

The things we do for our plants! Hilarious!

These plants sound so cool (and the pictures are great), but they would probably be too finicky for me. I can't grow plants indoors. Sticking tongue out
