I pruned this Adenium Arabicum 3 months ago, it began sprouting as usual and then stopped growing. I've fertilized it with osmocote and 15-15-15. It's been in the sun all the time. Pruned in the dry season, sunny all day and windy. Watered and fertilized once began to sprout. I live in Barranquilla, Colombia, tropical caribbean, hot and humid now in the rainy season.

@Pamal just give it a little bit of time, the tips and caudex look hearty. It looks like it is going to be a lovely bonsai Adenium.

Usually when mine stops sprouting leaves fast after pruning it is because they produce more buds than leaves.

@Pamal hope your desert rose is doing well and sprouting back.

I checked a few desert roses that stopped growing leaves and unfortunately some of mine had root rot. Hope yours are just fine.
