The upper corner of our yard was taken over by bermuda grass, and when it went dormant last season the late winter rains washed it out and left that area pretty bare and eroded. I sowed some clover seeds up there that have established pretty well, but there's still some bare spots.
Also, some sweet alyssum seeds must have been adulterated into what I sowed because there's cute little 1" tall ones coming up amongst the clover (and the bermuda grass that's woken back up Glare )

This gave me the idea to sow more wildflowers into the clover patch, so far I want to try: common blue violets, more clover, crocus, speedwell, and more alyssum.

Problem is, I dont know where to bulk order common blue violet seeds anywhere, best I can find is packs of 15 seeds. If anyone knows where to get these as seeds or young plants please let me know! Or other ways to encourage them to spread into the area, since we already have a thick naturally-occuring patch of them up there with the clover.
I would also like to know other low wildflowers to plant if anyone has any ideas!

More info: No-mow is not an option, so must be low-growing to not get its blooms whacked off by mowers.
The area is low-traffic.

I always do fine seeding wood violets by digging a clump, and rinsing the rootball in a bucket of water.
The bucket of water will be full of seeds... toss dirty water in area where seedlings are desired... Replant original clump.

In my area... violets tend to grow prolifically... On occasion, I find it worth while to dig clumps out of the veggie beds and give to chickens.

As far as the rest of the lawn? Sounds good!

Maybe do a google search for "alternative lawns".
I see artemisia (mugwort) and yarrow growing in lawns around here... Up north, I used to see wonderful mint lawns...

Here's one vendor of mixed lawn flower seed:

Turfing Daisy (Bellis perrenis) is a very nice, lawn flower that can be mowed.

TY all for the suggestions Thank You! I figured that re-using the naturally-occuring violets would be the best way to go, we have plenty in our yard I'm just trying to encourage them into the muddier area. I was hoping to collect their seed pods but I think they all got mown off? I might transplant some of the little ones coming up or try the washing method.
Also, that lawn seed mix looks really cute! I was thinking of some alternative lawn mixes, but the one's I've found are usually full of invasives or gimmick-y species. But that one looks homey
Personally, I've been looking at outsidepride.com for their covercrops, I'm planning on ordering their creeping speedwell and some more clover Sticking tongue out

Your violets are probably making cleistogamous flowers that never open and produce seeds underground. They can be bunched around the base of the plant, &/or just under the soil surface. I think that is what Stone is seeing in the bucket of water.
