The more I see Handwriting on the Wall, the more I want it. Kingdom without End is a real stunner! I only have three Emmerichs. Open Door is a very vigorous grower and rebloomer here. Wall of Fire was new here last year, and only had a few blooms in our drought. Entwined in the Vine was new last spring, but did not bloom. I look forward to seeing it this year.

Very nice scrolling down through the images and comments in this thread tonight. We still have about a foot of snow on the ground and the snow piles...are still piles...

Gorgeous.

I must see if I can get Cup of Cold Water, Dormant. I am always a sucker for interesting foliage.

I was able to purchase 3 of her Daylilies this spring, Eye on the Sparrow, Enduring Freedom, and Seventy Times Seven. Eye on the Sparrow is my favorite bloom, that I have seen in person, just gorgeous. I was lucky to notice a post on another Daylilly forum about someone moving and selling off their extra Daylilies. I payed between $5 and $8 each for small clumps. I have visited her site and noticed most of her earlier releases are no longer for sale through her, the newer releases are more than I am willing to pay for a plant. I would really like to get more of her plants, all 3 I have did great and had beautiful blooms not long after being planted. Does anyone know of any Daylilly Gardens that offer her earlier registrations at reasonable prices? I do see them on the LA but not several at the same time, by the same seller.

Thanks,
Gale

The first time I saw her daylilies was on the Lily Auction. I found her web site and was so excited to find such beautiful daylilies that came from MN so would most likely be very hardy here. After I got a couple, and they were beautiful and hardy,

Another thread bump…time to check my list for Emmerich! Like the Gossard, most are too recent to flower. Of the 11 I have, only four have flowered so far.

Here are some I've acquired since the first time I posted on this thread:

Royal Invitation - This one can have a smooth, flowing white edge. I love the blooms, and it grows taller than registered here. It's a good pod setter.

More usually it has shark's teeth on the edge:

All Things to All Men - I've never had a clean bloom on this in the six years I've had it. (My climate does have heavy morning dew.) I keep it because it's supposed to be such a fantastic hybridizing plant. I have some seedlings from it that should bloom this season, so we will see. Sometimes the eye looks very blue in my garden.
Thumb of 2022-02-02/shive1/29b9fd

Angels Bow Down is a slow multiplier for me. It will not set pods. Bahhh!
Thumb of 2022-02-02/shive1/079917

Bite of the Apple is a vigorous grower and a fantastic rebloomer.
Thumb of 2022-02-02/shive1/dd4850

Blood of the Martyrs is a fabulous plant in every way.
Thumb of 2022-02-02/shive1/bc9b16

Entwined in the Vine is always a pretty clump.
Thumb of 2022-02-02/shive1/842c12

Faith That Moves Mountains is a purple that holds its colors in the hottest temps.
Thumb of 2022-02-02/shive1/17b298

Forty Days and Forty Nights is a slow multiplier. It has never had anything close to 40 buds here. I do like its color, and it reblooms some years.
Thumb of 2022-02-02/shive1/5b6ebd

Born to Reign is a good multiplier but a reluctant pod parent. It's never rebloomed here.
Thumb of 2022-02-02/shive1/b016d4

Kingdom Without End has not multiplied well. I think I'm moving it this Spring.
Thumb of 2022-02-02/shive1/e3b183

Magnify the Lord is a vigorous grower.
Thumb of 2022-02-02/shive1/00dc50

Soli Deo Gloria has not performed well here. No increase and won't set pods.
Thumb of 2022-02-02/shive1/0f0e0e

Sword of Justice - I don't get much of a pattern on this one, but I do like it. This one is a good multiplier, has good bud counts, and sets a few pods.
