have never had any problem with impatiens in the past but these plants are being ravaged by something! Anyone know the culprit?

@cwalke I see your in Washington . Here in Oregon usually that damage due to the wet damp weather that in general this time of year ….Slugs could be the culprit if this happens over night. If you see slugs at night use Sluggo around the plants. It harmless to kids, pets and peoples…it's pellets and easy to use I use it all the time.

I do use slug bait around them but the damage is so weirdly peculiar to the flowers...reminds me of issues I've had with budworm on petunias in the past, but have never had issues with impatiens. I have cut off all the flowers and will let the plants regenerate to see if there's still an issue. If so, out they go!

@cwalke good idea. This is the time of year the insects show up.
Good luck let us know if you find the bugger eating all your flowers.
The only other critter around here that loves all types of flowers and eats just the flowers and buds are the deer.
