your polys here! Would love to see registered daylilies and your seedlings. Here's what I've had so far. I'd estimate we're early to early-middle now.

Very nice!
Is anyone breeding for five petals instead of four? None of mine are registered as poly, and I seem to get equal number of 5 and 4.
5 seems more balanced to me. Must have been all the art school training of using odd numbers.

Juli,
There are several folks I know of that are breeding for consistent 5 way polys. They are much more pleasing to the eye.

Leslie, Whew! All this time, I thought I was the odd one who liked the ones with 5. That is interesting to know!

In design class we learned to do things in odd numbers to give a sense of action. The dynamics of even numbers, especially with some polys are square and static. That said, here are some more.

Without looking, I believe that Emerald Starburst was registered as 15% poly, so there's a good possibility of that.

Yes ES is registered as 15% poly. I haven't seen any poly blooms on mine yet.

I have had a lot of poly blooms from ES, I also used it more than any dip last year. I have not seen a poly bloom on it.
