My aeoniums are coming out of winter storage in the greenhouse and on a couple I have noticed tiny whitish specks...are these some sort of pest? How to treat them if so?

I would spray it down with dilute soapy water. I use Safer brand horticultural soap. That should make the bugs go away if they are not firmly stuck on the leaves. Return for a repeat treatment in a few days to wipe out the survivors.
