Not taking credit for this stunning picture of Plumeria 'Kona Sunset' - a very talented volunteer photographer took it this week at the Naples Botanical Garden.
I took these pictures (unfortunately with my cell phone) of 2 plumeria coming over the wall of a home here. I've always noticed these trees, they are really large, full and beautiful. This time, I got out of the car and went up and really looked at the blooms.
A white plumeria with very little yellow at the center of the blooms. I couldn't reach a bloom to get a close up.
They probably would give me a branch, the branches break off fairly easily in heavy rain and wind so most people have a few around. I need to get a ladder on the roof and check the middle one of my plumerias to see if it is similar to this one. I can't see the blooms because it is too tall and they all seem to face up. I still haven't gotten the plumerias transplanted into their big containers though, so I hesitate to acquire any more.
Same here DH put a stop on my plummie addiction (his words) since I'm running out of space and he can't seem to finish his brick patio project because of too much rain.
Was thinking about cutting my hair, but seeing all the pretty blooms makes me want to keep the braid...blooms are so pretty in it and I get to share with folks when I have a braid full gave one to the cashier in the pharmacy the other day because she is always so nice.
Each cloud has a silver lineing if only you look for it.
