I thought I had killed my ZZ plant last year but I moved it into a little more sun and pretty much stopped watering it completely. It gets some splash from the pot next to it and of course it gets a lot of rain in the summer. Yesterday I felt around inside and it was dry as a bone so I gave it a good watering and feel that should get it through to next year. Crossing Fingers! There are I think 3 new stems coming out, 2 of them are easy to see but there is another one that is smaller.

@tarev,
I'm sorry! I think the bloom portion officially died about two weeks ago (it turned black and fell off), although the actual dying process took a couple weeks longer. The stem and spathe? are still present and green though! So I want to guess that the bloom lasted about 2-3 weeks before it started to die back.

Thanks for the update Hamwild! Hey at least you were able to show us how it makes a spathe! Thumbs up
