Hello,
I have a plant of honeyvine whitemilk that most people consider to be a nusince but I find it kind of cute and would like to dress a boulder wall with in the garrden.

My question is simple - how to reproduce it effectively?
Thanks

Are you sure that's honeyvine?
I think I see compound leaves, possibly clematis.
maybe this one:

Possibly you have both honeyvine and clematis.
Doesn't honeyvine get those pods full of seed?

I get additional matelea vines easily by planting the seeds out of the pods...

Hello,
I was told by a very senior tree guy that this was honeyvine but you make a great point and I think you might be correct as there are more similar leafs and the flowers are look-alike.

In terms of planting them, what are my odds in "training" them to climb a boulder wall? I mean Honeyvine (which is the one I read most on) likes to climb over other trees and whatnots. But does this Clemntis behave the same way?

Thank you Mr Stone!

Yup...
Clematis sure 'nuff climbs.

Every year when mine climbs up in the tree limbs or covers a fence... I try to get pics... Unfortunately, I can't seem to get decent pics to share...

Not sure that your bloom goes with the clematis...
Autumn clematis blooms in august or September around here.

Hey,
I took picture of the first flowers I saw today - they must have come in the last 48 hours because when I was there 2 days ago I saw no flowers.

Still think it's Clemntis?

Yeah... those look like autumn clematis...
Around here... they smell sweet....
I once had a plant that smelled almost like the spice cloves... the ones I have now still smell but not as nice...

You don't have to worry about spreading them around... I see seedlings come up in abundance.... Often more than people want...

Yeah they have a very sweet odor. Ok so you are 100% sure it's clematis? Because then I will research just that plant and not the whitemilk...

Also, I live in sweden - as I understand it, they dont do that well in the colder climate. How does this impact my plantation abilities?

Thank you!

Hard to be 100 % about anything online...
The bloom seems early... but I have no other guesses.
