Hello everyone,

I live in Belmont, Massachusetts. I have a crabapple tree cutting that has been getting some leaf damage from an unknown creature. Please see the photos below of the damage.

I inspected the cutting and have mostly found weevils and red mites, which I don't think cause this kind of damage. On one leaf, however, I found a caterpillar, which you can see circled in red. Does anyone know what kind of bug is causing this and how I should treat it?
