Welcome to gardening! (And the NGA forum)

I suggest you don't try the fleece (frost blankets) or the poly tunnels yet...

Instead, look for perennial plants that will withstand your winters on their own, or maybe with mulching. Then, continue to supercharge your perennial pollinator garden with some annuals you'll replant every spring.

Tell us more about your garden. In the U.S we would ask your city to then figure your hardiness zone...

Can you post a picture of your current garden?
Where in the UK are you?
How cold are the winters / How hot are the summers?
How much sun and shade?
How about water/supplemental irrigation for the summer?

I'm not putting off your question- just suggesting that perhaps re-buying those non-hardy plants each spring may be ultimately more succesful (and less costly) for you than trying more advanced techniques as you are just starting to expand you gardening skills.

Others my have lots of ideas as you give more info to us.

Hi so I'm just researching for winter. They can be pretty harsh like we have snow between November and January. I can bring in the pots but the plants will need help. We have only butterfly bee attracting plants so really looking to protect those but the net said one, the other or both. It can get as low as -10.

At minus 10 C, you best use both.

I'm not sure that what you have can withstand -10 even with a poly tunnel and a frost blanket. I live in Florida, a far cry from -10 in the winter. We have been known on very rare occasions up in the North part of the peninsula where I live to get to the teens, usually the lowest low is around 24-25F for a few nights. Our average lows here are 45-50F. Industrial grade frost cloth sold here for agricultural purposes will only raise the temperature 4-5 degrees if applied properly with the air space around the plants and all the air intrusion sealed off, so at 24F I could raise it to a max of 28-29F. Still freezing but most butterfly and bee perennials will withstand that for one or 2 nights. I think Nasturtiums are annuals aren't they? Don't they reseed?

The only sure way you have to protect the plants is to take them into your house or a heated structure or build a greenhouse that you can heat
