OK, I'm a sucker for rescue plants, I'll just admit that upfront.
This poor plant just came into my care. I think it is a Dieffenbachia. It used to actually have leaves, but just when the summer heat hit someone decided it was being overwatered. Now it's having a near death experience, but still trying.
So, I plant-napped it and brought it home. Started with a thorough watering and leaf rinse, let it drain well, and set it in a low/medium light spot. Soil and pot seem to drain well, I'm disinclined to re-pot in its weak condition.
I'm not at all familiar with Dieffenbachia, so would be happy to get any and all plant care advice. I do know that it's poisonous, I'll refrain from grazing on what little greenery it has left.
Thanks for any help!
