I've researched for weeks and cannot find this exact pink rose, pictured in the foreground beds with the boxwood borders. I love the arching/drooping canes, the bouquet-like flower clusters, the fullness, and the height of perhaps 4 feet compared to the appx. 1-foot hedge. Any ideas?

Hello! It is all over the internet! I don't know if it's authentic, but does show on Houzz as being in Pasadena, CA.

Even allowing for the Zuzu magic, that seems large for the rose pictured.

Can you grow a climber like Jasmina as a bush like in the picture?

Karena123, Welcome to the forum!
If we are talking about Jasmina rose, I also have one and not happy with this rose, but zuzu is Pro and her opinion and practice are most valuable.

You can grow any climber as a bush, but it's much simpler to buy a non-climbing rose. Anyway, I don't think Jasmina resembles the rose in your photo. Jasmina's blooms are smaller, they form larger clusters, and they're sometimes closer to mauve than pink.

If I wanted to duplicate the scene in your photo, I'd probably choose Bonica to grow as the pink rose. I don't know where you're located, but Bonica is readily available from vendors in the United States, Canada, South America, Europe (Western and Eastern), Australia, and New Zealand.

Zuzu, I am also in Northern California and think I've switched from Felicia to Bonica. Good idea? And are the blooms close to the same size as my picture? Lastly, I saw you had posted a picture of 'Royal Bonica.' If I am to go with Bonica, do you think 'Bonica' or 'Royal Bonica' would best replicate the original picture? Thank you!

Yes, they'd be the right size.

I think you should choose 'Bonica' over 'Royal Bonica.' In my garden 'Bonica' produces more blooms.

Thank you, @zuzu. I have one landscaper trying to tell me Bonica will never look like the garden in my original post, is very difficult to grow, and will turn into white blossoms in the heat.

I don't know why any landscaper would make those statements. Bonica has never been difficult to grow. That's why it's still popular after 40 years in commerce. It's treated as a landscape rose here in Sonoma County and is the basis of many mass plantings and hedges. It looks exactly like the roses in your photo and I've never seen it produce white blooms. Intense heat probably could bleach some blooms to a pale-pink shade just before they reach shattering point, but never to white. Take a look at the photos in this link and try to find a white bloom.

@zuzu - Thanks, again! Any thoughts on Lavender Lassie?

@crawgarden - The photo is a Getty image and used for marketing purposes, with a guess of them being David Austin roses. However, DA does not think it's one of theirs.

Lavender Lassie has beautiful blooms, but the shrub itself has an unattractive shape in my garden. It has only two sturdy canes, about 12 feet long and veering away from each other. I'm sure it would look great secured to a fence, but it doesn't have a long, empty expanse of fence behind it in my garden.
