Many times when I am viewing a post with many photos, I forget who posted it when I get to the end.

Would it be possible to add the OPs name at the end of a post?

I thought it was a reasonable request, no biggie!

I think Frank was asking for system solution that would automatically add the name after a long post.

Short of forcing everyone to use a signature, I don't think there's a way software can judge the length of a post and then decide to either add the name at the bottom or not.

There's no foolproof way, no, but it would be possible to set up code to handle the most common scenarios e.g. more than a certain number of photos in a post.

What Nancy said is what I thought too. It makes sense to put it on any post with pics. I can't see who posted once I scroll down far enough to see the whole pic they posted.

It might be simpler to just add the username in smaller letters aligned with the bottom right text of every post, where the thumb, acorn, bookmark, and then text is at. Or immediately above that line, that could fit Username / Name in that position, just make the text smaller to match what's there.

Then it's consistently there for long posts with texts as well, instead of just if X number of photos, add username.

I am guilty of train posting…' That is one pic after another after another posted in a long line forcing constant scrolling down forever to see pics.' My excuse is when my garden is in bloom as I have a very short season here and wait 7-8 winter months before I see any signs of life , especially since climate change and after some recently brutal winters. It's a nice break to see life in the garden once again.

The longer the posts the longer the I love to see all the beautiful posts from flowers, vines, shrubs and trees… vivariums and greenhouses , the whole kit and caboodle always makes my day.

I wholeheartedly agree! I could line up 3 pics side by side on my IPad. I always did. But that is probably not a great option to post on smart phones, I think.

Why not both options.. single line pic and or double line pics, make it a choice. that was they way it was originally.

I think it is still possible to do that if the pics are not very wide. How it actually shows up is probably dependent on how your browser or phone is set, whether not the font is enlarged and the resolution.

Unless there is just 1 sentence of writing, I can't see a whole post including the top section and signature section. I have my browser set to enlarge fonts quite a bit.

I made the update this morning and you will now see the poster's username in the bottom area of their posts. Thanks for the great suggestion Frank!
