How do I kill Rose of Sharon>? I have some growing in an area I don't want them and they're like weeds! They start up everywhere! So, how do I kill them?

There is a product called Tordon RTU. The 'RTU' part means 'ready to use'. It is formulated to be painted onto the freshly cut surface of woody trunks/stems. The product is than absorbed into the vascular cambium and is transported to roots which subsequently die. It is very effective - only 1 application needed.

Cut stems with a lopper or saw, use a foam paint/stain brush to apply to wound. All done. No mess, overspray, or wind drift.

I agree with Tordon. We have to use it around here with certain shrubs and trees. Just be careful with it because it kills any brush it touches so make sure no drips or anything.
