Hi everyone, I'd really appreciate some advice please!
I've had this Philodendron Florida for almost a year. It was originally in my living room, where it was getting quite a lot of bright light, and seemed happy enough. There are two stems/vines in the pot and each one regularly puts out new growth.
Around March/April of this year, I noticed that every leaf had started to push itself back against the petiole instead of standing upright. I did some research and even contacted the nursery it came from and apparently this is a response to the plant getting too much direct sunlight? I moved the plant to a different spot (my kitchen) where the light is much, much weaker, however every single leaf is still doing the same thing, including all of the new leaves that have grown since it was moved to the new location. It's been in the kitchen for a few months now and there's no change. Each leaf seems to grow as normal, but then gradually starts dropping down and pressing itself back against its individual petiole.
I've found very limited information about this online and I'm wondering if the plant is just "stuck" like this now or if it will ever go back to normal? If anyone has any suggestions for what I can do, I'd love to hear them! Thank you
