I'm a senior citizen who thoroughly enjoys visiting this site on a daily basis; sometimes I chat and share photos, sometimes I browse a few forums to read posts and learn from others experiences and sometimes I just browse the database to read about a particular plants requirements or to gaze at the beautiful photos. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who participates on this wonderful site!

Thank you to our Executive Director Dave for creating garden.org and keeping it a safe and enjoyable site where plant enthusiasts around the world can share and learn from each other.

Thank you to our Database Administrators for your assistance to us all and for your amazing hard work and dedication in keeping the plant database accurate and up to date!

Really it is the people, and the specific ones Lin mentioned especially, who make this place so welcoming and helpful and worthwhile. I am grateful and proud to be part of this community.

I too am grateful to be a member of this community! At one time we had a couple of people on here that tended to be rather argumentative and snarky to other members, which was sad but thankfully I haven't seen that in awhile. I realize that personalities differ and our life experiences may be different but life is just too short and a gardening website is not the place for negativity and arguments.

Lovely way to show our appreciation to so many ….the sun is always shinning here even if it's winter…☀️☀️☀️

Well said all the way around! This IS a safe haven to share our thoughts, questions and pictures. We have each other's backs...especially Dave who has been at the helm ever since the original Dave's Garden site.
We are all "family" and hopefully always will be!!!

Could not agree more. Have made many that I consider as friends that I would have otherwise never have been able to know.

with all the statements above. This is a great site to visit. You get to know people even though you live in different states/countries. One can learn so much from other members' experiences. I get a kick out of reading about peoples' pets and seeing pictures of them. Also, I usually get a daily dose of humor as some members post comments and stories that have me rolling on the floor laughing. And then, of course, there are all the beautiful garden pictures that the "family" members submit.
