I have a young Kousa Dogwood I planted this spring. It's about 4 feet high and the leaves are browning at the tips and some of the bark is peeling off. I know the bark peel is normal in older trees but mine seems young. I'm in Zone 7 and it has been hot and dry but I try to water twice a week when there's no rain. Should I be concerned?

It doesn't seem to be getting enough water. When you water, how do you do it?
