Thread OP
Eugene OR
This summer we had a volunteer Foxglove plant appear in our backyard. I was curious if I could propagate some of the seeds from this plant. They are quite small and there are millions of them. I was successful in getting many to germinate. I want to nurture these and plant them next year in the spring. MY question is how best to go about this. Should I try to keep them inside this winter or can they survive outside ?

Thank you for your time in this matter.

They survive just find outside in my yard. I would plant them.

I would plant them outside asap. They self seed readily in my garden and do fine in the winter

I agree
They self-sow and overwinter just fine in my northern garden! Smiling
