my carolina reaper's were all great, looking good for the first dozen or so. The other green ones looked great also , but then started mutating from the stem turning tan and sinking. they are not being eaten, at least from the outside. It just turns brown and sinks in. Hope the pic helps. Thank you.

I agree. We had extreme heat and intense sun for a solid week. Very little survives around here unscathed in that kind of situation. Just cut them off and toss and new ones should still form and be in better shape.
