Interesting Seed Pods

Growing lakeside these pods and mature seeds were almost artistic in the last fling of Autumn. Identity unknown.

Love the subject and the execution. Some of the pods look like a kind of milkweed (not the so-called common milkweed, which has larger, coarser pods).

When walking around Wisconsin woods in winter with my daughter when she was about 4, she picked the prettiest bouquet of dead things that I kept for about 20 years. So I definitely love the subject as well, beautiful banner!

Those seedpods remind me of my milkweed seedpods too! Beautiful banner.

Now, seedpods seem to me to be the beginning of a life cycle.
