I'm thinking of harvesting some seeds off my cannas this year. I've done some reading into how to germinate them, but I'm not clear on how to store them over winter. Do cannas require cold stratification? Or can I just put them in an envelope in my seed box?

I just put them in an envelope and store them until I try to germinate them.
