It is time to bid adios to my dear Texas friends here on NGA.
After 23 1/2 years, I have sold my home and am moving to the east coast to be closer to my daughter. It was not an easy decision. There are a lot of things I will miss, but I'm a firm believer in happy endings. The contributing factors behind this change include my advanced age, too much acreage, drought and water restrictions, and a desire to be closer to family.
It has been a pleasure to "meet" and interact with so many wonderful people on this forum.
At this point, I have no idea as to exactly where I'll be living. But as soon as I'm able to get settled and back online, I will reconnect.
Stay safe, be happy, and pray for rain.

@GrammaChar I'm not in Texas but but stumbled on your post and want to wish to all the best. I've always admired your photographs, especially of butterflies. Regardless of where you land, there's no rule that says you can't post old photos... and hopefully you'll create new ones!

Hopefully you will love it, I enjoy being up there, but keep some extra socks on your list, chuckl. They are made for that weather when you buy them up there!

Hello Texans,
I made it to Maryland and have bought a new home. Still unpacking boxes, but making progress.
Seeing lots of plants up here that I can't identify yet, but look forward to growing some new things.
I'll check in occasionally because I miss my Texas friends.
Meanwhile, Happy October!
