I live in Germantown Md. What fall vegetables would be best to plant now?

I planted seed yesterday for radishes and beets, the packets seemed to say that's OK. My garden may be a zone or half zone warmer than yours.

Do you still have plenty of sun? I noticed how long the shadows have gotten.
I feel sure spinach, kale and lettuce are OK to plant from seed now, or visit a local nursery for starts. I'm not sure their brassica starts (cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower) will be ok. Of those, cabbage seems most safe choice.
Plant it and they will come.
