As you know if you have been watching my most recent greenhouse thread, I am going to great lengths to include passive heat sinks for more winter heat gain. i.e. gravel flooring with a brick finish; triple wall polycarbonate; 425-gallon pond; Reflectix insulation with Phase Change panels on the north wall.

However, with all this, one thing that I am concerned about is the humidity levels which are already consistently above 80%, the ideal humidity level for what I want...mostly because of my largest heat sink, the pond.

As the winter approaches with more diverse temps between inside and outside, I am concerned with condensation which could lead to molds and less-than-desirable plant production.

I am seriously thinking of purchasing a greenhouse dehumidifier, and I have looked at many.

Right now, I am considering the SeedMax 102 Pints Steel Commercial Dehumidifier for Greenhouse and Basement. It runs $490 with about $90 for shipping. It would be a large investment for me. https://www.toolots.com/ng-fro...

However, before I buy it, I just want to ask do any of you use a dehumidifier in your greenhouse? What brand/type do you use? Pros/Cons? Any suggestions or recommendations?
