Supertunias and Alyssum

From one of my backyard planters, Supertunia Vista Bubblegum, Supertunia Limoncello, and White Knight Alyssum.

Gorgeous banner girl and I love the names of all of them.

The original will be a bit disappointing, I took it the day I planted that container, June 2nd:


But growth by July 10th, it's the planter at the far left: The salvia right behind the petunias and alyssums was a new one I tried, Van Houttei, that was getting much too large for those planters and taking up too much space (and water!). I dug it out right after this shot.


And July 31st with more room for the others once that salvia was moved into its own planter:

Yes, that's the bird bath they play in nightly and the others nicely drink from. And I found the solar fountain one ran off with a week or 2 ago! I found it yesterday back behind the garage when I started pulling a few weeds back there, about 35' from the bird bath where he snatched it from. I still haven't found the spongy/rubber ring that kept it afloat though. I'm just putting it away in the basement for the season.

Nancy, that is sooo pretty oh my! I wish I can have something like that. Mine would last a week because I will forget to water and they will die! These photos need to be in the plant combinations.

Thank you. And that's another good reason for drip irrigation... you can forget about the plants and not kill them!
