Hello! I have my eye on a couple Philodendrons. Any companies that you would recommend? TIA

I looked into this site and below is what it says:

We want to assure you that all necessary export and import formalities will be handled by Ecuagenera, including Cites, Phyto, and other requirements. Once the import process is complete, we will promptly ship your package to the address specified in your order.

"We handle all export and import procedures, including Cites, Phyto, and other requirements, for shipments to the following countries: USA, Europe, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Canada, UK, Switzerland, Guatemala, and El Salvador."

They have a lot of really nice stuff. I would not mind ordering but still wonder if there would be any snags for items coming into Canada even though it sounds like Ecuagenera takes care of everything.

@Patitaz, Gina gave a suggestion of Ecuagenera and it looks pretty good. Can I ask that if you do order from them that you write a follow-up post letting us know how the experience went. I also live in Canada and am always wondering if the process of bringing plants in from a foreign country would be really difficult (Customs, forms, etc.). I don't like complicated, i.e. lots of paperwork and red tape. By what I read on the Ecuagenera website it seems they take care or all requirements, customer just has to do the ordering and wait for the plants? That would be ideal.

Ecuagenera hosts pop-up shows across Canada every three months. Customers can pick up their orders at the show, with all necessary paperwork taken care of by Ecuagenera.

I only live 2 hours from Ecuagenera USA. So I can go in person, or if I buy online it's gets UPS'd here overnight. I only imported something one time back in the early 2000's and that was a group order from Thailand. Someone else handled all the paperwork so I really don't know how it works
