⚠️please help
My monstera leaves are turning yellow and I'm so scared, I don't want it to die!

It initially started developing brown spots and leaf tips, so, I changed into a well draining pot n soil mix. I removed some roots in the process and watered it quite well.
After the repotting, the leaves slowly started turning yellow! Soil is wet to the touch.
1. Is it because I removed some small roots?
2. Is it over watering?

If it's over watering, how can I fix it now? Please advise. I don't want the plant to die!
Thank you!

PS: it's not an old plant for the leaves to turn yellow and brown..
