Quite simply it is not growing. 2 years, three locations, new soil all to no avail. The nursery, Dancing Oaks, has not responded. Bought a second one this year and the same result. Me- 27 years on the same lot, 2500 bulbs in the ground- daffodils, tulips, Scilla, alliums, dahlias, muscari- 20 different roses, 9 kinds of berries, lots of natives, National Wildlife Federation certified habitat, hand weed and hand water everything. Cannot get this to grow. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Try giving it extra Nitrogen in the spring and summer. Nothing extravagant, just follow the directions on a high nitrogen fertilizer package.

Thank you. I think I'll give it a couple of shots of Jim Beam as well to help it get over its awkward shyness of growing with other plants. And if that doesn't work I can always drink the rest of it myself.........:)
