Hello everyone,
I have used the contact form twice to ask where the classifieds are on this site, and have not received a reply. I cannot believe that this many plant people would be talking to each other, and there is no plant or seed swapping going on. But for the life of me, I cannot find any section on this site for such things. I have tried searching under many words, and nothing.

I did come across something I thought was odd; when I tried to make a list of my plants on my profile, there were questions associated with the selling of them. I thought that your own plant lists were just to show yes, I have this plant, so when I give advice about it I know what I am talking about. But I guess my thought was wrong?

Would someone please explain how the buying or giving away of plants works on this site? Or does it? Perhaps I am barking up the wrong site with this idea.

There is a 'Classifieds and Group Buys' Forum, a 'Plant & Seed Trading' forum and under 'Useful Tools' on the bar at the top of the screen, there is a 'Seed Swaps' option. Have fun!

All forums are found in the menu bar at the top under Community.

The personal plant list can be for either just adding it to your inventory list but the option is also there to add as a want/wish list and also an available list letting anyone know you may be interested in a trade or to sell it.
As you can see in my profile, I have my list broken into categories and also made a a separate Wish list so it's not mixed in with my inventory, easier to look up when shopping.

I just want to find homes for some duplicate plants, and thought that the people who use this site would be the best ones to offer them to.
