It is a lovely spot. The shade cloth adds that extra protection from the sun. Once your vines are up it will be a real show stopper.

Those photos are 3 years old! It doesn't look very much like the first photos in this thread anymore. More like a jungle! LOL!

I do create "rooms" in my yard that have a specific purpose. And I have so many more to go! I hope to see completion in my lifetime of my dream rooms!

I am blessed to have a few rooms. This is one of them. PLEASE NOTE: this end of the bed was redone last summer, and the fountain is new (bday present). I call this room "the winged creatures pollen bar"😍

We found the bistro set at goodwill, spray painted green. Hubby did the mini patio.

I love finding things at Goodwill or garage sales and refurbishing them! Great find at your Goodwill!

Many of us do what we have to do to protect plants from cold winter weather. I am sure many can relate to the inside of your home. I live in Florida, so I just cover everything with sheets. My yard looks like tent city for however many days the weather is below 45 degrees to protect my tropical plants.

I have enclosed a couple pics of my garden room, looking forward to spring/summer and the many long lazy evening dinners in there out of the bugs, I built this in 2018 and so glad we did, one pics is looking from the garden room up to the house, the 3rd pic is further down in the backyard with the greenhouse. We have lived here over 20 years and retired about 4 years ago.It is my paradise.

This is one of our "rooms". We have a shed built on the upper part of our lawn with a 10x12ft deck on the front. It completely overlooks our firepit room and our yard. We can watch the birds eat off the feeder, and zip back and forth between trees and shrubs. Central NY, and our spring is finally getting started up here! Oh, and that is the backside of a chain saw carved Sasquatch to the right in the firepit.



My husband built this pergola last year, so this is looking into the firepit area, with the shed up above overlooking
