I'm playing around with a new feature that I launched this afternoon: the floating menu bar. When you are on a page of ATP you know that there has always been at the very top, a blue menu bar with valuable links to move around the site.
I now have it set that once you scroll down the page a bit you will see that blue bar follows you, and in fact presents custom options depending on where you are.
For example, if you're looking at a plant in the database
Lily (Lilium 'Urandi') for example, then when you scroll down you'll notice options in the floating menubar to upload a photo, post a comment, etc.
Also, when viewing a thread the floating bar will show you an option to watch the thread.
If you're looking at an idea, it will give you a link to view other ideas by that author.
Also, I replaced the "Tree-Mail" text with a graphic of an envelope. If you have new mail, the envelope turns red.
