This morning I added comments for 11 varieties of tomatoes which I have grown in my garden. For seven of the comments, I received a message that the comment was posted and I earned an acorn. For 4 of the comments, however, I received a message that the comment was posted, but nothing about an acorn. I don't really care about the acorns, because I already have a lot, but I am curious about why some comments earn acorns and others do not. Is earning an acorn based on a certain number of words/characters in the comment? Thanks for any insight anyone can offer.
