Tom Johnson now has Mid-America's 2024 catalog on-line with his 2024 prices. His introductions are $65 - $70, but otherwise, it seems to me his prices on the earlier irises are lower than last year. I went through the catalog and only put 22 on my wishlist! I'm planning a trip to Salem next May and will check them out in person before I order them.
It looks like he has dropped Lynda Miller's varieties - disappointing, because I missed out on ordering Ninja Warrior and its progeny last year.

Andrea, I don't think he has updated everything on the website, yet. I searched for "Ninja" and found some of Lynda's intros, tho not Ninja Warrior. It might still be added.

Yeah, I figure there will be more changes to the website soon. Hope so. I think Tom has recently returned from his trip to Europe and is just catching up.

Happy to oblige, Elsa On another thread you said you have both Hollywood Star and Star Appeal. I have Star Appeal but have never seen Hollywood Star in person. How would you describe its color compared to Star Appeal?

I went back and reviewed pictures I have in the database because my camera does a good job of capturing pinks. And then going by memory, I would say, the color is very close to the same. But I have not seen a bloom on Star Appeal in a very long time. I believe I still have it because I did a health check on it not too long ago and there is still an Iris growing in it's place. Hopefully I will see it again sometime. I have some seedlings from Hollywood Star and Pumpkin Cheesecake. I hope to see them bloom someday.

P.S. That picture you have of Star Appeal with the blue Iris in the background is So So pretty. What a beautiful photo.

I have Luxuriant. I am crazy about it but haven't seen it bloom in several years. I need to move it to a prime spot in the yard, cause it is a beautiful Iris. Maybe I need to move it and Star Appeal

I have Luxuriant, too. When it is happy, it grows and blooms like crazy. Its pod parent is Beauty Becomes Her which I have to divide every two years - Luxuriant is like its Mom.
