Very interesting, and quite sad, for all of us. Sighing!

I agree that it's a little bit sad. Most of us would like for everything to stay just as it is now. But it's also a little bit wonderful and seriously amazing.

It's like Mother Nature can handle almost anything that gets thrown her way. It's good to know that she can adapt slowly or sometimes quickly to most every challenge. The beings that will enjoy this planet for the longest are the ones that can adapt and evolve continuously. I think that's why our planet is so spectacular.

And, I'm in high desert country which is pretty inhospitable to growing a whole lot of stuff except maybe cactus and thorn bushes! And even though I've planted lots of things over the years to attract pollinators I haven't been so very successful. Not many of them naturally live here. Or they show up at the wrong time of year.

But I am so grateful that I can grow beans and peas and tomatoes and peppers and lots of other things because they are self-pollinating. Mother Nature has given me a very special gift! What a wonderful world.

Happy holidays everyone.... and keep evolving! …. and, you know.... Happy Gardening.
