Are the companies cutting back?
I did order in 2023, from Pinetree , as most years, and Baker Creek a few times, but maybe not 2023.
I appreciate not wasting paper but kind of miss the thrill.
Plant it and they will come.

I got the Jung's catalog about two weeks ago. They still send it every year even though I use their website for ordering.

I pulled up Pinetree/Superseeds on my phone and it seemed to be giving me an online catalog that just wouldn't work properly. Once home, I opened their site and it first showed the 'online catalog' an interactive 'flip-thru-the-pages' experience which I didn't like AT ALL. But then you can use the site the way it was in the past, which works just fine.
Plant it and they will come.

I have the fabulous one from Baker Creek, a couple of weeks ago, and Burpee's arrived just a few days ago.

I did order from both of those companies this year.

I've gotten at least half a dozen catalogs so far, including Pinetree - which is almost impossible for me to read! I think it was actually the first one to arrive, and I almost had a panic attack thinking that something had gone radically wrong with my eyes; then I dug out last year's catalog from PT and compared the two - some rocket scientist decided to make the print smaller, fainter, and in particular to use light green ink for a lot of the plant names, which almost disappears on the page. Oh well, I pretty much order from the website anyway, but I still like browsing through the catalogs! Fortunately the others that have come in are much easier to read.

For some reason, Totally Tomatoes hasn't sent me one for 3 or 4 years, despite the fact that I order from them every year and have requested a catalog on the website a couple of times. (Perhaps the mail carrier is keeping it?)

I do agree on the horrible print. What eyestrain! Thought it might just be me.

Pinetree, Jungs, Sow True Seed, Southern Exposure Seed Exchange, Baker, Johnny's, Territorial.

I've been shopping. A friend and I are combining orders to save on postage.

Wondering if they stage the catalogue mailings based on location.

I used to get catalogs before Xmas, and put them away as my personal present at Xmas.
Someone at Pinetree needs to get a little smarter- between that print catalog and the online virtual page flippy thing which I really can't see being worth the trouble to set up.
Plant it and they will come.

I have thought that most (if not all) of the "online catalogs" (as opposed to the websites themselves) have just been a PITA. Other than the fact that you might be able to download them as a PDF file and then use them without being online, I don't see the point. Confused

My plans are modest so far, and my seed stock will cover all the basics except crookneck squash, for which there aren't many fun variations (at Baker or Pinetree anyway) and I know yellow summer squash is on every seed packet rack in the stores.
Plant it and they will come.

My Burrell catalog came today; I just may order some old school sweet corn from them.
Not sure I ordered from them before but probably did. (good prices).

I have not found my corn seeds from last year (Like a dolt, I did not put them back in the freezer when done) so I do not know what I still have for sweet corn. D'Oh!
