I have a sconce on the wall and I need a recommendation for a trailing houseplant that will do well in low light. Currently I have a Philodendron, but the plant is just not doing well and I need to replace it. Can anyone recommend a suitable trailing houseplant that will do well in this spot?

I would recommend a very realistic looking artificial plant. It will always look good, even in low light, never need watering and never drop leaves on the floor. No not being rude, being realistic. We purchased artificial plants for our church - they look so real, people keep watering them (why we went to artificial) and asking if they can take cuttings of Spider Plant babies!

Epi aureum as Gina said is the only one I'd try, if that fails you can replace periodically, or do plastic.
Plant it and they will come.

The artificial plants I was thinking of are made of rayon. Smiling

They usually have those on hand at box stores. Shipping in this cold may be dicey
